In Tuckman's model of team dynamics, teams move from "forming" to "storming" to "norming" and finally to "performing." A fifth phase, "reforming," was added later to reflect the reality of changing groups. This video describes both how to recognize the progress of a team, and what should happen at each phase to increase the likelihood of forward progress. It's a key tool for anyone who leads or manages groups, runs meetings, or chairs project teams. Tuckman's process will happen whether you recognize it or not, but if you recognize it you can put it to good use.
